Reclaiming Motherhood in these Last Days*
Today is Mother's Day. There is a warfare against motherhood. The Devil is a liar who tries to pervert God's will. He is the Father of Lies and has been since the beginning. Margaret Sanger, who founded Planned Parenthood and abortion, as well as those who tell us that motherhood is undesirable and unfulfilling for a woman, are part of this current day warfare against motherhood. A poem written by William Ross Wallace brings us a truth that is found in scripture: " The Hand that Rocks the Cradle is the Hand that Rules the World ." In Genesis, from the time we read of the creation of Adam and then Eve from the rib of the man ( Gen. 1:22-25 ), to this day, all men and women in the world were born from a woman: "Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living."
